In 2004, Corey"Cocko" Cox was diagnosed with acute lymphatic leukemia (ALL). Naturally, his friends and family were shocked, scared and felt a need to do "something." Cocko's recovery was a perfect catalyst to inspire more patients to experience similar success.
Cockopalooza is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to encouraging and facilitating patients and their loved ones to beat cancer. Each year, an event is held to benefit a Michiana family going through a similar experience.
The 2009 event will be dedicated to helping to two Michiana girls battling cancer. Click here to read more about this year's event.
